The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Emerging Technologies (ICAIET 2025), organized by School of Computer Science and Engineering, XIM University, Bhubaneswar, India with Technically Co-Sponsored By IEEE, IEEE XIM Students Branch, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, IEEE Kolkata Section, IEEE Future Networks and in partnership with IAJES, will be held from August 28 to 30, 2025 at XIM University, Bhubaneswar, India.
ICAIET 2025 is envisioned as a premier global forum that will bring together eminent researchers, academicians, industry leaders, policymakers, and technology practitioners to exchange knowledge, present innovations, and discuss future trends in the rapidly evolving fields of Artificial Intelligence and emerging technologies. The conference will address a wide spectrum of thematic areas, including but not limited to Artificial Intelligence and its applications, machine learning and data science, computer vision, natural language processing, the Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber-physical systems, blockchain technologies, network and cybersecurity, as well as sequential, parallel, distributed, and cloud computing.
The three-day program will feature keynote addresses by globally recognized experts, rigorous peer-reviewed paper presentations, specialized technical workshops, and thought-provoking panel discussions. These sessions will provide participants with opportunities to engage in high-quality academic discourse, gain insights into state-of-the-art developments, and explore practical solutions to complex real-world challenges.
A central objective of ICAIET 2025 is to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and create meaningful connections between academia and industry. Dr. Amitabha Bagchi of Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi
Dr. Amitabha Bagchi is a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where he is known for his research in algorithms, network science, distributed systems, and computational models for social phenomena. His academic work explores areas such as random graphs, peer-to-peer systems, load balancing, and the analysis of large-scale networks.
Over his career, Dr. Bagchi has published extensively in leading international journals and conferences, contributing to both the theoretical and applied dimensions of computer science. His research is recognized for its rigor, cross-disciplinary relevance, and innovative approach to modeling complex systems.
Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Bagchi is a celebrated novelist, having authored acclaimed works such as Above Average, The Householder, This Place, and the award-winning Half the Night is Gone, which won the DSC Prize for South Asian Literature in 2019. His literary work often blends social observation, cultural history, and narrative craft, earning him recognition in both India and abroad.
Combining scholarly depth with creative vision, Dr. Bagchi exemplifies the rare fusion of technical mastery and literary artistry, shaping not only the field of computer science but also contemporary Indian English literature.
Dr. Ashutosh Dutta of Johns Hopkins University, USA
Dr. Ashutosh Dutta is a prominent researcher and technology leader in the fields of 5G/6G, network security, wireless communications, and mobile networking. He is currently affiliated with Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), where he serves as Chief 5G Strategist and Senior Wireless Research Scientist.
He has more than three decades of experience spanning academia, industry, and government research labs, having worked at organizations such as AT&T, Lucent Technologies Bell Labs, and Columbia University. His contributions include research and development in next-generation wireless networks, cybersecurity for mobile systems, software-defined networking (SDN), and edge computing.
Dr. Dutta is also active in IEEE leadership roles — he has served as the IEEE Communications Society’s Director for Industry Outreach, Chair of the IEEE Future Networks Security Working Group, and an organizer for conferences in emerging communications technologies. He has published numerous papers, holds patents, and is widely recognized as an expert in secure, high-performance communication systems.
His academic background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Columbia University, along with prior degrees in computer engineering and electronics. He is known for bridging cutting-edge research with practical deployment, especially in the context of secure, scalable wireless infrastructure.
Dr. Suchismita Chinara of NIT Rourkela
Dr. Suchismita Chinara is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, India. With over two decades of academic and research experience, she specializes in computer networks, cybersecurity, Internet of Things (IoT), data analytics, and distributed systems. Her work often focuses on the design of secure, efficient, and scalable architectures for modern communication systems.
Dr. Chinara has published extensively in reputed international journals and conferences, contributing to advances in network security, intrusion detection, IoT protocols, and data-driven decision systems. She has guided several doctoral, postgraduate, and undergraduate research projects, fostering innovation among young researchers in the field of computer science.In addition to her academic roles, she is actively involved in professional societies and collaborative research projects, often bridging theory with real-world applications. She has served as a reviewer and committee member for numerous international journals and conferences.
Dr. Chinara holds a strong commitment to teaching, mentorship, and advancing women’s participation in STEM fields. Through her research, academic leadership, and professional service, she continues to contribute significantly to the growth of computer science and engineering in India.
Dr. Prasant Mohapatra of University of South Florida, USA
Dr. Prasant Mohapatra is the Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at the University of South Florida (USF), USA. An accomplished computer scientist and academic leader, his research focuses on wireless networks, mobile communications, cybersecurity, and the Internet of Things (IoT). He is recognized internationally for his contributions to quality-of-service protocols, network security frameworks, and next-generation communication systems.
Before joining USF, Dr. Mohapatra served as Vice Chancellor for Research at the University of California, Davis, where he was also a Distinguished Professor of Computer Science. Over his career, he has published extensively in top-tier journals and conferences, served on editorial boards of leading IEEE and ACM publications, and received multiple awards for research excellence and professional service.
A Fellow of the IEEE, Dr. Mohapatra is known for bridging research innovation with institutional leadership, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and advancing higher education’s global mission. His career reflects a rare blend of deep technical expertise and visionary academic administration.
Mr. Satyajit Nath of Capgemini
Mr. Satyajit Nath is a Senior Director at Capgemini, where he plays a pivotal role in driving digital transformation strategies, managing large-scale technology programs, and guiding enterprise clients through complex modernization journeys. With over two decades of experience in the IT and consulting industry, he has built a reputation for delivering measurable business impact through innovative solutions in areas such as cloud adoption, data analytics, and intelligent automation.

Dr. Ganapati Panda of C.V. Raman Global University
Dr. Ganapati Panda is a distinguished academic and researcher in the fields of Signal Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Communication Systems. He is currently associated with C.V. Raman Global University (CGU), Odisha, where he continues to contribute to advancing higher education and cutting-edge research.
Dr. Panda previously served as the Deputy Director of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bhubaneswar, where he was also the founding Head of the School of Electrical Sciences. With an academic career spanning more than four decades, he has made pioneering contributions in speech and image processing, biomedical signal analysis, soft computing, and intelligent communication systems.
He has published extensively in reputed international journals and conferences and has supervised numerous doctoral and postgraduate research scholars, fostering innovation and academic excellence. Widely recognized for his contributions, Dr. Panda is a Fellow of the Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE) and other prestigious professional bodies, and he has been actively involved in national and international scientific committees.
