BATTLEWAVE – BGMI Tournament

The SPS Day 2025 celebrations at GCET featured an exhilarating highlight – BATTLEWAVE, an open BGMI (Battlegrounds Mobile India) Tournament for students across CVM University. The event brought together gaming enthusiasts from multiple institutes, blending entertainment with competitive spirit.
More than just a game, BATTLEWAVE served as a platform for participants to showcase teamwork, strategy, coordination, and quick decision-making. The tournament featured multiple action-packed rounds, culminating in the grand final on 30th May. All matches were streamed live on the IEEE GCET SB YouTube channel, enabling remote engagement.
By incorporating esports into the SPS Day celebrations, the event added a modern and interactive touch, fostering a strong sense of community while highlighting the growing intersection of technology, entertainment, and collaboration.
