Oklahoma Engineering Fair
Volunteer opportunity at the Oklahoma Engineering Fair, organized and directed by the Oklahoma Engineering Foundation, and held every spring during National Engineers Week at Science Museum Oklahoma. It brings together students, teachers, professors, and the business community to give students an introduction to engineering and related principles.
The students are also given the opportunity to showcase their creativity in engineering construction and design through various categories of competition including a bridge competition; rubber band-powered vehicle competition; drone zone competition; Eiffel tower competition; electrical motor competition; ping pong launcher competition and wacky wonder works competition; software challenge and animals and engineering. The Oklahoma Engineering Fair is open to middle school and high school students attending public, private, parochial or home schools in Oklahoma.
