IEEE ENIT Student Branch in collaboration with IEEE WIE ENIT Affinity Group and IEEE WIE Tunisia Section

Objective:
To unite IEEE WIE members from across Tunisia to celebrate women’s achievements in engineering, promote collaboration, and empower participants through innovation, sustainability, and leadership under the theme “Agri-WIE: Empowering Women in the Green Revolution.”

2. Description of Activities

Day 1

Check-in (12:00 – 14:00):
Participants arrived and registered at the venue, receiving their event kits and programs.
Opening Ceremony (14:00 – 16:00):
The event officially started with welcoming remarks from organizers and the introduction of the theme Agri-WIE.
Booth Exhibition & Networking (16:00 – 16:30):
Each IEEE WIE Affinity Group presented their activities and achievements at their respective booths. IEEE ENIT SB also hosted an IEEE Day booth as a physical activity under the IEEE DAY program, where attendees enjoyed an interactive fingerprint coloring activity to celebrate IEEE Day.
Non-Technical Challenge Pitch (16:30 – 19:30):
Teams showcased their creative and entrepreneurial ideas in front of a panel of judges.
Dinner (20:00):
A social dinner allowed participants to unwind and connect.
Party (22:00 – 00:00):
A lively gathering to celebrate the community spirit.
Surprise Challenge (00:00 – 02:00):
An engaging nighttime activity designed to encourage teamwork and fun.

Day 2

Breakfast (07:00):
The day began with a morning meal and informal networking.
Technical Workshop (09:00 – 11:30):
the session titled “Smart Agriculture for Rural Women in Tunisia: AI-driven Approaches to Enhance Resilience” explored how AI and modern technologies can support women in rural areas and advance sustainable agriculture.
Technical Challenge Pitch (09:00 – 11:30):
Teams presented innovative technical solutions linked to the event’s theme.
Mentorship Program (09:00 – 11:30):
Roundtables for Innovation, Sustainability & Entrepreneurship brought together mentors and participants for impactful discussions on green practices, climate resilience, and entrepreneurship.
Check-out & Lunch (11:30 – 14:00):
Participants checked out and shared lunch together.
WIE Region 8 Track (14:00 – 15:30):
An inspiring session featuring speakers from IEEE WIE Region 8 who discussed leadership, empowerment, and the future of women in engineering.
Finalists Announcement (15:30 – 16:00):
The winning teams from the challenges were revealed.
Musical Break (16:00 – 16:15):
A short entertainment break to celebrate the achievements of the participants.
Voting & Closing Ceremony + Group Photo (16:15 – 16:45):
The congress concluded with voting, closing remarks, and a memorable group photo.

(Representing 37 WIE Student Affinity Groups and over 3,000 WIE members across Tunisia)

4. Conclusion

The IEEE WIE ACT 4.0 was a resounding success, offering a unique blend of technical learning, mentorship, collaboration, and fun. It empowered participants to innovate in sustainable agriculture, strengthened the IEEE WIE network in Tunisia, and celebrated women’s pivotal role in advancing technology and sustainability.
