Biography:
Ms. Shashikala Ranathunga is an accomplished AI Analyst at LOLC Technologies with a strong background in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Computer Vision. A proud alumna of the University of Jaffna, where she earned her BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, she has built an impressive career spanning research and industry. Shashikala began her professional journey as a Research Assistant and Computer Vision Specialist at the University of Moratuwa, where she gained extensive experience in applied AI research. She then moved into the tech industry, contributing as a Software Engineer (AI/ML) at 99x and later at ZorroSign Sri Lanka, before excelling as an AI Engineer at Zafer AI, where she developed end-to-end AI-driven solutions. Currently at LOLC Technologies, she focuses on building scalable AI solutions that deliver real-world value to businesses and end-users. Passionate about innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, Shashikala strives to shape the future of AI by bridging research and practical applications, making a meaningful impact on both technology and society.
