This Registration is for the R1/R2 Joint ExCom/SPC meeting on November 8th and 9th only.

Preliminary Meeting Schedule

  • SPC/ExCom Meeting (beginning no earlier than 3:00 PM)

Sunday, Nov 9

  • ExCom Meeting (concluding by noon)

Travel Expenses & Reimbursements

  • Lodging for Friday and Saturday nights will be covered for all ExCom and SPC members.
  • Expense reports must be submitted via IEEE Concur within 60 days, per IEEE Travel Guidelines.

    • Valet Parking: $50 overnight / $28 daily
    • Fashion Center Mall Garage (connected to hotel): max $20/day; discounted $14/day available
  • ✈️Flying:
    • Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA): 3.8 miles / 9 minutes by Metro to Pentagon City
    • Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD): ~30 miles by highway
    • Taxi, Uber, and Lyft are available (no hotel shuttle).
  • 🚆Train:
    • Amtrak Union Station (WAS): 5 miles to Pentagon City; connects via Metro Red Line to Yellow/Blue Lines.

Invitation to the IEEE WIE Forum USA East

We are also delighted to invite you to the 10th Anniversary of the IEEE Women in Engineering Forum USA East, which will take place November 6–8, 2025, also at the Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City. Since the SPC/ExCom meetings immediately follow the WIE Forum, this is a wonderful opportunity to attend both. You would only need to cover the remaining WIE Forum registration fee and lodging for Thursday if you attend the reception.

DiSC® Workplace Assessment Program

As an added incentive to attend the WIE Forum USA East, the first 35 ExCom/SPC registrants will receive complimentary participation in the Everything DiSC® Workplace Assessment Workshop, made possible through generous support from the IEEE Foundation.

The workshop includes:

  • A personalized DiSC® Workplace Assessment
  • Instructor-led activities & video-based learning
  • Practical strategies for improving communication, collaboration, and leadership

The 3-hour sessions will be facilitated by IEEE HR Learning and Development and led by a certified instructor in leadership and professional development.
