Invitation to IEEE RTSI 2025 Keynote Lecture by Prof. João Paulo Papa
Dear IEEE Members,
We are pleased to invite you to attend the distinguished keynote lecture by Prof. João Paulo Papa on:
“New Perspectives on Computer-assisted Esophageal Cancer Detection”
📅 Date: 26 August 2025
🕙 Time: 11:30 – 12:00
📍 Venue: Verdi Tunis Beach Resort, Tunis, Tunisia
📌 Conference: IEEE RTSI 2025 – IEEE Forum on Research and Technologies for Society and Industry
🔗 Full conference program: https://2025.ieee-rtsi.org/program/
This talk presents some new perspectives on esophageal cancer detection using machine learning and its combination with handcrafted features. We present new insights into the problem, its challenges, and tentative solutions to overcome it, resulting in a functional prototype that can be used during endoscopy.
We look forward to welcoming you to this insightful session and to your active participation in IEEE RTSI 2025.
