IEEE Student Branch Anurag University, in association with IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), Delhi Chapter, is organizing a Special Address on “Ignite Your Future: Exploring the Power of IEEE Membership” by Mr. Preet Yadav, Chairperson, IEEE CASS Delhi Chapter & Head – India Innovation Ecosystem, NXP Semiconductors.

This special address will highlight how IEEE membership can empower students, researchers, and professionals to advance their technical careers, connect with global communities, and contribute to innovations with a lasting impact. The session will shed light on the diverse opportunities offered by IEEE, including technical societies, conferences, standards, publishing, and leadership development.

Participants will gain insights into how IEEE acts as a catalyst for professional growth, offering mentorship, networking, and platforms to showcase research and projects on international stages. The session aims to motivate young minds to leverage IEEE resources for shaping their future while contributing to technological and societal progress.

Speaker Biography

Mr. Preet Yadav is the Head of India Innovation Ecosystem at NXP Semiconductors and currently serves as the Chairperson of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS), Delhi Chapter.

With over two decades of experience in the semiconductor industry, he has established expertise in Analog & Mixed Signal (AMS) design and verification, Process Design Kits (PDK), and Electronic Design Automation (EDA). Prior to rejoining NXP in his current role, he worked with Wipro as Analog Practice Head and Distinguished Member of Technical Staff (DMTS), where he led the global AMS practice. In his earlier tenure at Freescale/NXP Semiconductors, he played a significant role in PDK development and AMS SoC verification for automotive microcontrollers and processors.

Mr. Yadav received his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Kurukshetra University and his M.Tech. in VLSI Design & CAD from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology. He is also a Faculty Fellow at IIT Roorkee’s Technology Innovation Hub – DivyaSampark and an Adjunct Faculty at ABV-IIITM Gwalior.

His contributions to IEEE are equally noteworthy. He has served in several leadership roles, including Chair-Elect/Secretary of the IEEE CASS VLSI Systems & Applications Technical Committee (VSATC), and is an active member of the IEEE CASS Standards Committees, Industry Engagement Committees, and Digital Communication Committees. He also serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Sensors Alert.

Mr. Yadav is a Fellow Member of IETE and ISSE, and a Senior Member of IEEE, with numerous international publications to his credit, including three best paper awards. He is also a core team member of the VLSI Design (VLSID) Conference Steering Committee. His professional journey reflects a strong blend of industry leadership, academic involvement, and global community engagement, continuing to inspire students, researchers, and professionals alike.
