Hack-O-Sprint 3.0 is the internal hackathon of IIIT Bhopal, organized as a part of the Smart India Hackathon 2025. The event serves as a platform for students to showcase their creativity, problem-solving skills, and technical innovation. With a team structure of six members (including at least one female participant), Hack-O-Sprint ensures diversity, collaboration, and inclusivity in every participating group. The hackathon not only tests coding and design abilities but also emphasizes teamwork, mentorship, and idea presentation.

The journey begins with registrations starting from August 26, 2025, followed by the team registration deadline on September 7, 2025, where participants are encouraged to find a mentor, or one will be assigned to them. Teams will then work on refining their solutions and are required to submit their PPTs by September 14, 2025 (11:59 PM) in the official format. The event will culminate in the Internal Hackathon on September 19, 2025, from 9 AM onwards at NTB, IIIT Bhopal. This final stage will allow teams to present and demonstrate their ideas to a panel of evaluators, competing for a chance to represent IIIT Bhopal at the prestigious Smart India Hackathon.

Hack-O-Sprint 3.0 is not just a competition but a celebration of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. It aims to nurture young minds by providing them with the right mentorship, exposure, and an opportunity to transform their innovative ideas into impactful solutions.

1. Registration & Welcome

   • 9:00 AM–9:30 AM: Participant check-in and formal inauguration

   • Brief opening remarks to set the tone and expectations for the day

2. Hackathon Kick-off

   • 9:30 AM–10:00 AM: Official launch and overview of objectives, rules, and judging criteria

3. Coding / Project Work Begins

   • 10:00 AM onwards: Teams commence work on their solutions

   • Continuous project development, brainstorming, prototyping

4. Mentorship Session I

   • Around 11:00 AM: Dedicated time for each team to interact with mentors for feedback and guidance

5. Mid-day Evaluation Round

   • Approximately 1:00 PM: First evaluation checkpoint (presentation/demo); presented in short rounds with judge Q&A

6. Mentorship Session II

   • Post-evaluation: Follow-up mentoring to refine ideas and address feedback

7. Final Internal Evaluation / Pitch Round

   • Around 4:00 PM: Teams present their final PPT or prototype to the judges; includes Q&A

8. Closing & Results Announcement

   • Around 6:00 PM: Announcement of shortlisted teams for SIH

   • Valedictory remarks and feedback session

9. Networking & Wrap-up

   • 6:30 PM onwards: Informal interactions, feedback collection, and closure
