The conference is financially and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Industry Applications Society and the IEEE PES/IAS/PELS join student chapter at Texas A&M University, and proceedings are published within IEEEXplore.
TPEC brings together students pursuing power and energy studies and experts from industry and academia to engage in a forum for technical presentations and professional development. TPEC is the largest student led power and energy conference in Texas with pathways to top-tier publications. We pride ourselves on fostering discourse broadly across the electric power and energy disciplines.
We welcome both paper submissions and poster submissions. Accepted posters will be presented to live audiences with the opportunity to receive feedback and compete for top prizes. Papers must be presented in person at the conference to be submitted for inclusion into IEEEXplore . Important dates are listed below:
· Submission Deadline: November 1, 2025
