The Workshop on "Microwaves, Transmission Lines & Antennas- Introduction and Applications" was organized at Adam's Engineering College, Paloncha, Khammam, Andhra Pradesh, about 340 km away from Hyderabad. The following three technical talks were delivered:
1) Introduction to Microwaves, Transmission Lines and Antennas: by Dr. M. Lakshminarayana, Chair-
2) Airborne Radar Systems- Introduction: by Mr Yogesh K Verma, Secretary, MTT/AP/EMC Joint Chapter; IEEE Hyderabad Section.
3)Concepts of Remote Sensing & its Applications: by Prof N. Srinivasa Rao, Vice Chair, MTT/AP/EMC Joint Chapter; IEEE Hyderabad Section.
Technical talks were well attended. Students from about 12 Engineering colleges around Khammam district. Of the 65 IEEE Member attendence, 50 were student members and 15 were corporate members.
