Microcontroller (Raspberry Pi Pico 2) Workshop
Note: in-person on-site event only
Overview of Workshop
In collaboration with IEEE Computer Society South Australia Chapter, the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Society of Adelaide University is presenting their Microcontroller Workshop, featuring the Raspberry Pi Pico 2. Powered by a 32-bit hybrid Arm/RISC-V processor, while costing under $10, the Pico is the ultimate tool for students, tinkerers and hobbyists.
In this beginner-aimed workshop welcoming senior high school students up to professionals, you'll dive into the exciting capabilities that the Pico has to offer. Bringing only your own laptop computer, you'll get hands on with a Pico and explore embedded software development. Activities involve connecting the Pico to switches, buzzers, OLED displays and more, giving you the tools to kick-start your next electronics project.
You will bring home a Raspberry Pi Pico 2 with associated components to begin your microcontroller hobby journey.
