The IEEE Student Branch at Shiv Nadar University organized its Orientation session on 16th September 2025.

The event aimed to introduce the new batch of first-year students to IEEE as a global organization and to the initiatives of the IEEE Student Branch at SNIoE.

The session covered:

• An overview of IEEE as the world’s largest technical and professional body, including its global network, standards, publications, competitions, and career benefits.

• A presentation of the Student Branch’s activities at SNIoE, including technical workshops, seminars, collaborative projects,  Opportunities for Undergraduate Research, mentorship, and preparation for national and international IEEE competitions.

• Guidance on how students can get started with projects, research, internships, specialization choices, and participation in IEEE programs.

• An interactive Q&A session with the Student Branch core team, where students asked about opportunities, membership benefits, and upcoming events.

The event also marked the announcement of recruitments for the IEEE Student Branch, inviting students across all years to avail IEEE membership and participate in IEEE events
