Optics and Photonics in Sweden (OPS-2025)
The Optics and Photonics in Sweden (OPS-2025) conference is organized by PhotonicSweden and KTH. The general chairs at KTH are Prof. Mattias Hammar (KTH) and Prof. Kristinn Gylfason (KTH).
The conference will give an overview of Optics and Photonics in Sweden and Scandinavia and offer a good platform for creating new collaborations. Keynote speakers will highlight European research and developments. A poster session will provide an additional opportunity to display the most recent developments. An exhibition and a session with company presentations will be held in parallel to the technical sessions to provide industry, institutes and associations, an opportunity to display their products and services and bridge the gap between science and industry.

The first day is dedicated to the Nordic Photonics Forum organizing a workshop on “Photonics & Electronics 4 Defence”.

Since 2016 the IEEE-PS Sweden Chapter has organized and sponsored the Best Poster Awards at OPS. This year it will be three (3) Awards: 1x Best Poster Award (3 000 SEK) and 2x Best Poster Distinctions (1 000 SEK each). Eligible for the Awards are young scientists, i.e., students and post-docs.
