The IEEE Region 5 Transformers Academy is a high-impact IEEE leadership initiative that brings together a balanced cohort of 50% experienced IEEE veterans and 50% emerging professionals for a weekend of solutions-focused collaboration. It fosters the exchange of institutional knowledge and fresh perspectives to co-create meaningful, real-world strategies that address enduring challenges. The Academy cultivates a pipeline of intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial leaders empowered to engineer bold, transformative solutions that elevate both IEEE and the broader technology ecosystem. Each interdisciplinary team will produce a publicly accessible white paper proposing actionable, scalable strategies to advance technology for humanity. These open-source publications aim to spark global collaboration and replication across industries and institutions.
