The Membership Drive was conducted to create awareness among first-year students about the IEEE Reliability Society, its benefits, and the wide range of opportunities it offers. The initiative introduced students to the field of reliability engineering, fostered technical excellence, and encouraged them to become part of a global professional community. The primary aim of the drive was to build a strong foundation of enthusiastic and motivated students who will actively contribute to technical learning, innovation, and collaborative growth within the IEEE Reliability Society. The Objective of the events are:
● To highlight the importance of reliability in engineering and technology.
● To familiarize first-year students with the IEEE Reliability Society, its vision, and activities.
● To encourage active student involvement in technical, professional, and research-based initiatives.
● To recruit new members and strengthen the student chapter.
The campaign took place on 18th September 2025 and witnessed active involvement from a large number of first-year students. Students attended the drive with great enthusiasm and interacted with the team throughout the session. They showed keen interest in the scope of reliability engineering and its real-world applications. The session included nteractive Q&A discussions ,Experience sharing by senior members ,An introduction to upcoming events The campaign was successfully organized and executed by the following student volunteers, who contributed to coordination, presentations, and interactions: Kaushik, Sahithya, Mithun, Swetha, Rais Ahamed, Abiramhi, Padma, Krithikaa, Kishore.,Nasreen, Sujitha, Soumya, Charu, Janani, Dhanajeyam, Pooja Sri.
