Introduction to IEEE and UMGC Student Branch Opportunities
Prof. Andrew Seely will provide an introduction to IEEE, the world’s largest technical professional society, and highlight the benefits of student membership. He will discuss the mission of the UMGC IEEE Student Branch, opportunities for student involvement, and how participation can help students accelerate their careers, build professional networks, and gain valuable leadership experience.
Biography:
Prof. Andrew Seely is the Faculty Advisor for the UMGC IEEE Student Branch and an active leader within IEEE. He currently serves as Vice President for Membership & Geographic Activities of the IEEE Computer Society, Chair of the IEEE Region 3 Member Communications Committee, and Vice Chair of the IEEE Florida West Coast Section.
