The IEEE Computer Society ENSIT Student Branch Chapter successfully organized second edition of CS Ta7ki Coffee Talk, which is an initiative designed to foster dialogue, professional growth, and community engagement in an informal yet intellectually stimulating setting.

The event brought together students over coffee to exchange experiences and insights, highlighting the diverse career trajectories within the field of computer science.

Three distinguished speakers were invited to share their journeys and expertise: Mouhanned Jawadi, Junior Software Engineer at ETG, Founder of ENSIT PRESS, and former Marketing Manager at Geeks Club; Fedi Bahloul, former Chair of IEEE CS ENSIT SBC, Computer Science Engineering student at ENSIT, and intern at TALAN; and Mohamed El Abed, Infrastructure Support Specialist at FOCUS and student at Tek-Up.

Through their interventions, the speakers provided valuable perspectives on topics such as transitioning from academia to industry, the importance of leadership and initiative within student communities, and the development of both technical and soft skills necessary for professional success. Participants engaged actively in the discussions, benefiting from the open exchange of ideas and the opportunity to ask questions in a relaxed environment.

CS Ta7ki Coffee Talk serves not only as a networking and discussion space but also as an opportunity to introduce participants to the mission and objectives of IEEE and its Computer Society Chapter.

The initiative emphasizes the role of IEEE in fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional development among students while highlighting the specific contributions of the Computer Society to their academic and career journeys.

Through this event, attendees gain exposure to the vast knowledge and insights offered by IEEE CS, ranging from technical talks and skill-building workshops to participation in flagship competitions such as CSTAM and Xtreme, which challenge students to apply their problem-solving abilities, creativity, and teamwork in a global context. By combining informal exchanges with professional perspectives, CS Ta7ki underscores the value of IEEE membership and the unique opportunities the Computer Society provides to empower students to grow as leaders, innovators, and active contributors to the tech community.

The event was particularly appreciated for its innovative format, which combined the casual setting of a coffee talk with meaningful professional insights, thereby creating a platform that not only inspired students but also strengthened the sense of belonging within the IEEE community at ENSIT.

Overall, CS Ta7ki Coffee Talk achieved its objectives by motivating attendees, encouraging networking, and laying the foundation for future editions that will continue to bridge the gap between students and professionals in technology.
