Jack Frencham

Biography:

Jack Frencham is a Mechatronics Engineering student at Deakin University with a strong interest in robotics and design. Through project-based learning, he has developed and built several autonomous robot prototypes including a robot for the 2024 Warman challenge, a pet feeder and a maze solving micromouse. He also joined the Ultrasonic Research Group at Deakin, where he collaborated with final year students on research projects and gained hands-on experience simulating and programming the KUKA KR 4 R600 robot arm using KUKA.Sim. His determination and dedication enabled the robot to perform tasks such as drawing paths, navigating wire loops, and executing pick-and-place operations. Jack is motivated to continue working with real-world robotic systems to excel in the field of robotics and design.
