STEM Explorer Fest 2026
Hello!
It’s time for STEM Fest 2026!
We are excited to announce that registrations are now open for our 2026 STEM Explorer Festival, which will take place on Saturday, 1/17/26 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM at Largo Central Park. This event allows children and parents in our Pinellas County community to learn more about STEM skills used in our local organizations and businesses. It is also an opportunity to learn about employment opportunities in our area and what students need to do to work in STEM fields.
Thank you for supporting this event in the past! We hope you can share your expertise again this year. As a reminder, we are looking for interactive exhibits that will allow children of all ages to explore authentic STEM skills and learn about STEM job opportunities in Florida.
Here is the sign-up link: https://forms.office.com/r/qmd1VhGuQM
Feel free to share this event with others who may be interested. A sharable Save the Date card with the application QR code is also attached to this email.
Note: If you are planning to bring a vehicle, there is a separate application for the Touch a Truck section. https://largo.rja.revize.com/forms/1873
Thank you for your continued support of Pinellas County students! We look forward to seeing you at STEM Explorer Fest 2026.

Pinellas County Schools is asking for volunteers from the IEEE to do a presentation promoting STEM at Largo Central Park in Pinellas County FL. Members around the Tampa Bay area are preferred for driving distance but welcome those around Florida. This is an In-Person Event, Not virtual.
Please look at and choose a lesson plan on https://tryengineering.org/teachers/lesson-plans/.
Those who can volunteer, please complete the registration: https://forms.office.com/r/8iEkqE1BFF
Email me venner20@ieee.org and CC the Pinellas County STEM Director Catherine Mullins MullinsC@pcsb.org between now and a week before the event. Register in VTools so that the Florida West Coast Section can promise PCS plenty of volunteers. The more the better until we say otherwise later.
Our Professional Engineers have done Conferences, STEM Fairs, Science Fairs, Professional Study Days on variety of lesson plans from hands on "Ohms Law" to how to "accepting failure in the classroom." We can team up some members to make the presentation go smoother.
