The IAS x RAS Bootcamp is a hands-on training program dedicated to building a line-following robot, designed as an introduction to real-world applications of robotics in industry. It's a two days event (wendnesday 24th and Tuesday 30th of Oktober). Participants explore the fundamentals of electronics, programming, and mechanics through the creation of a robot capable of following a predefined path using sensors. This educational experience provides a concrete illustration of the use of line-following robots in major industries, where they are employed for the automated transport of goods and materials in production lines and warehouses, thereby optimizing logistics, reducing human errors, and improving productivity.
