In the spirit of empowerment and awareness, IEEE Women in Engineering ISIMM Student Branch is proud to announce a special edition of Pink October, held in collaboration with AVEF (Association Voix de l’Enfant et de la Femme), a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting children and women.
This edition takes on a special cause—sensibilization about breast cancer, while creating a nurturing space for both moms and children.
Objectives

Raise awareness about breast cancer among mothers and women, promoting early detection and prevention.

Engage children in interactive and educational activities to encourage creativity, positivity, and awareness at a young age.

Strengthen collaboration between WIE ISIMM SB and AVEF in serving both societal and educational missions.
Structure of the Event
The program will be divided into two parallel axes:

Session for Moms

A dedicated awareness session focusing on breast cancer prevention, detection, and support.

Discussions guided by professionals and AVEF members to empower women with knowledge and solidarity.
