IEEE SenseSmart 2025 – Seasonal School on Sensors and AI for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
IEEE SenseSmart 2025 – Seasonal School on Sensors and AI for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
Sensors are at the core of technological innovations that address global challenges across healthcare, environment, energy, and infrastructure. With the convergence of AI, IoT, and advanced sensing technologies, we are entering a new era of intelligent systems capable of real-time monitoring, decision-making, and sustainability-driven impact.
India, being at the forefront of smart city initiatives, digital transformation, and renewable energy adoption, requires a strong knowledge base in sensor systems and AI to meet both industrial demands and societal challenges.
The IEEE SenseSmart 2025 Seasonal School aims to:
Provide in-depth technical exposure to students, researchers, and professionals in sensor systems and AI.
Address United Nations SDGs by showcasing how sensor-driven solutions can solve pressing societal and environmental issues.
Enable participants to gain hands-on experience in sensor design, IoT integration, and AI-based analytics.
Foster collaborations between academia, industry, and IEEE global experts.
This initiative aligns with the IEEE Sensors Council’s mission of advancing sensor science and its applications worldwide.
Technical Areas:
Sensor Devices and Materials
AI and Machine Learning for Sensor Data
