IEEE GRSS Lecture– Review of recent work by Dr. Aravind Venkitasubramony
An in-person meeting with Dr. Aravind to discuss his voyage to a PhD in radiometry.
Aravind Venkitasubramony received the B.Tech. degree in electronics and communication engineering from the University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, India, in 2006, and the M.Eng. degree in space engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI, USA, in 2013. He is pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Center for Environmental Technology (CET), University of Colorado Boulder, Boulder, CO, USA.,He has worked as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer with the ISRO Telemetry Tracking and Command Network (ISTRAC), Bengaluru, India, from 2007 to 2015. His research interests include microwave radiometry, RFI detection and mitigation techniques, RF instrumentation and systems engineering
We will also have a meeting topic of what to do with some found chapter funds for next year and as always opportunities for volunteers.
