Talk aimed primarily at high school, undergraduate students, and designed for a general audience interested in discovering the world of integrated circuit design in Mexico. In clear, accessible language, we will explain the main technical and educational challenges and the opportunities that exist both in industry and research. We will present concrete examples of collaboration among companies, universities, and research centers to drive local innovation. In addition, we will outline accessible pathways for more students to be introduced into this field: undergraduate programs, mobility programs and internships, as well as graduate and continuing-education options. The session will include practical recommendations and useful resources for those interested in pursuing a career in solid-state circuits, with time allocated for questions and discussion.
