 IEEE RSCOE Student Branch, in association with IEEE Sensors Council Pune Chapter proudly presents an expert session on “Sensors Applications”
We are delighted to host Prof. Mandar J. Khurjekar, Chairman, IEEE Sensors Council Pune Chapter, IEEE Pune Section, as speaker for this insightful session.

Various applications of Sensors based on Resistance Strain Gauges, Optical Fiber and Vibrating Wire 

with specific reference to Civil and Mechanical Structures. Structures such as Bridges, Tunnels, Mechanical structures like turbines and Beams. 

Solve two numerical examples in design of a transducer. at Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering,,Tathawad,Pune 411033, Department of E&TC, Venue E&TC Seminar Hall Room A-310

Lecture was conducted for Nearly 1hr 45 minutes. Followed by Q&A for nearly 45 minutes.

Prof Khurjekar  is Life Senior Member of IEEE from 2025. Previously Senior Member of IEEEtill 2024. Member of IEEE since 1999 

Also Fellow IETE ( India0.  Member Institution of Engineers India, Life Member ISOI, Life Member Biomedical Society of India

Chairman IEEE Pune Sub Section 2008, Treasurer IEEE Pune Section 2004 and 2014 till 2016, Vice chair IEEE Pune Section in2017, Chair IEEE IMS Pune Chapter from 2021 till 2024, Chairman IEEE Sensors Council Pune Chapter since January 2025.
