This event is proudly co-hosted by the Robotics Club, the Engineering Students’ Society, and IEEE BCIT.

Event Waiver & Acknowledgment

By registering for this event, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation

   I am voluntarily participating in the Halloween Social Event hosted by IEEE BCIT Student Branch, the Robotics Club, and the Engineering Students’ Society.

2. Assumption of Risk

   I understand that activities may involve risks (including use of sharp tools, consumption of food, and light physical activity). I assume all risks associated with my participation.

3. Release of Liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, discharge, and hold harmless IEEE BCIT Student Branch, the Robotics Club, the Engineering Students’ Society, BCIT, and their officers, members, volunteers, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action related to injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from my participation.

4. Health & Safety

   I am responsible for managing my own health needs, including allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical coverage.

5. Media Consent

   I consent to the use of photos/videos from the event that may include my image for non-commercial promotional purposes.

6. Severability

   If any provision of this waiver is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full effect.
