The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in association with the IEEE Student Branch of KCG College of Technology, is organizing an Expert Talk on “Making World a Better Home – Business Side Opportunities in Renewable Energy.”
The session will be delivered by Mr. Paul Philip A, Team Lead, RE Power, MRO & General Purchase (Central), Saint-Gobain India Pvt. Ltd. The talk is scheduled on 6th October 2025 at 10:00 AM in the DST-FIST Smart Room.
This expert lecture aims to create awareness among students about the growing business opportunities and innovations in the renewable energy sector. It will highlight how renewable energy not only contributes to sustainable development but also opens new pathways for entrepreneurship, industry collaboration, and green job creation.
The session will particularly emphasize the connection to UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy, and SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), enabling students to understand the importance of renewable energy in achieving a sustainable future.
