IEEE Day 2025 – Unlocking the Power of Intelligence: A Hands-on AI & Machine Learning Workshop
Organized by IEEE Ganpat University Student Branch in collaboration with IEEE Women in Engineering GUNI & IEEE SPS SBC GUNI | Special thanks to Prof. Nishi Patwa (Branch Counsellor), Mr. Hill Soni (Chairperson), and the IEEE GUNI SB team for their coordination and execution.
To celebrate IEEE Day 2025, the IEEE Ganpat University Student Branch (IEEE GUNI SB) organized a hands-on workshop titled “Unlocking the Power of Intelligence: A Hands-on AI & Machine Learning Workshop” on 6th October 2025.
The session was conducted by Mr. Sumit Chawla, CEO of Ultron Technologies, an experienced IT trainer and IEEE member. The objective was to introduce participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) and their real-world applications.
More than 35 participants attended the interactive workshop, which covered key concepts of AI, data processing, and neural networks. The hands-on session guided students through building their first ML model using Python, making the learning experience practical and engaging.
Mr. Chawla’s insights into AI-driven solutions, industry relevance, and live demonstrations helped participants develop both technical understanding and curiosity for emerging technologies. The event concluded with a Q&A session, feedback collection, and a group networking photo, marking an inspiring IEEE Day celebration that promoted innovation, collaboration, and technical excellence.
