IEEE Day UFLA: Você está no Campus. O IEEE te conecta ao Mundo. / First Day
Ciclo de Palestras IEEE UFLA: Experiências Acadêmicas e Profissionais
To celebrate IEEE Day, we held a special session that brought together valuable insights from academia and meaningful experiences from IEEE Student Branches in Brazil.
We began with a talk by a professor from the University of Brasília, who shared his academic journey, discussed opportunities within academia, and presented his research experience. His presentation offered inspiration and guidance for students interested in pursuing research and academic careers.
Following that, representatives from different IEEE Student Branches in Brazil shared their experiences, presented their activities and projects, and discussed their future initiatives. As the IEEE Student Branch at the Federal University of Lavras (UFLA) was founded recently, their participation and insights were especially valuable, providing motivation for our members and showcasing to non-members the strength and impact of the IEEE community.
To conclude, we offered a Coffee Break & Networking moment for in-person participants, encouraging interaction, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas among attendees on our campus.
This activity was kindly supported by IEEE Foundation, IEEE Students, and IEEE Young Professionals, whose contributions made this moment of connection and engagement possible.
