IEEE CS Tech Expo 2025 – IEEE Day 2025 Celebration
The IEEE Computer Society MUET Student Branch proudly celebrated IEEE Day 2025 with a grand two-day signature event, merging innovation, competition, and festivity to honor the global IEEE spirit of advancing technology for humanity.
Day 1 – 15th October 2025:
The celebration kicked off at the Seminar Hall, CSE Department, with an interactive session where expert speakers enlightened students about future trends in Artificial Intelligence, hardware innovations, and the evolving opportunities for Computer Systems Engineers.
The highlight of the day was the Final Year Project (FYP) Exhibition, showcasing the creative and technical brilliance of final-year students. Esteemed judges from multiple departments evaluated the projects, while juniors explored these innovations with inspiration to see themselves at that stage in the coming years.
Parallel to the exhibition, the energy soared higher with Gaming and Coding Competitions, engaging passionate students from various technology disciplines. The enthusiasm, teamwork, and spirit of healthy competition made the day truly remarkable.
Day 2 – 16th October 2025:
The second day unfolded with the vibrant IEEE CS Carnival, held outside the IIT Building. The event began with the award ceremony, where winners of the FYP exhibition and competitions were honored.
Distinguished guests graced the event, including Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Aneel Kumar, who was presented with a traditional Ajrak as a token of respect, alongside Dean FEECS Prof. Dr. Ashfaq Hisbani.
Chairman CSE Department Prof. Dr. Shahnawaz Talpur presented Shields of Appreciation to IEEE CS Faculty Advisor Dr. Sanam Narejo and Co-Advisor Engr. Noorulain Mushtaque, acknowledging their constant mentorship and support.
The carnival buzzed with food stalls, gaming booths, and fun activities, drawing over 2000 enthusiastic students from across the campus.
Adding to the excitement, a Job Fair was organized featuring reputed organizations, including Aptech, Faith Group, Barclays Institute, and Chaloo Technologies, offering internship and training opportunities to MUET students.
The event wrapped up on a joyful note with Singing and Open Mic performances, creating a perfect blend of celebration, networking, and career development.
Despite the challenges, the dedicated Organizing Committee of IEEE CS MUET Student Branch, under the guidance of their faculty advisors and collaboration with ORIC MUET, turned this vision into a phenomenal success — leaving lasting memories and inspiration for the student community.
