As part of IEEE Day celebrations, the Student Branch welcomed Dr. Mohamed Saeed Darweesh, Chair of IEEE Region 8 Young Professionals, for an online event on October 6, 2025. His presentation titled "Engineering the Next 50%: Allies for Lasting Parity" provided an inspiring message about inclusion and allyship within the engineering field. During the session, students participated in productive discussions covering mentorship, advocacy, diversity, and how to build innovative communities.
