Innofusion
The IEEE KPRIET Power and Energy Society (PES), IEEE KPRIET Power Electronics Society (PELS), and IEEE KPRIET Industrial Electronics Society (IES) jointly organized an innovative ideation event titled INNOFUSION on 7th October 2025 at the EEE Department from 2:30 PM to 4:15 PM. A total of 60 teams, comprising around 176–200 participants, actively took part in the event with great enthusiasm and creativity.
The event was designed to foster innovation, collaboration, and quick thinking among students. Participants were asked to pick a chit from each bowl, combine the ideas, and pitch their inventive concepts, aligning with the event’s theme – Fuse. Create. Pitch! This engaging format encouraged students to think beyond conventional boundaries and develop spontaneous yet practical ideas.
Participants presented diverse and imaginative inventions that reflected their ability to merge concepts from multiple domains. The judges commended the originality, clarity, and innovation demonstrated by the teams. Winning teams were honored with shields, while all participants received certificates recognizing their active participation and creative effort.
INNOFUSION served as a vibrant platform for students to enhance their ideation, communication, and presentation skills. The event highlighted the collective efforts of the three IEEE societies in nurturing an innovative mindset and promoting interdisciplinary thinking among young engineers.
