Introduction

The IEEE Jamia Hamdard Student Branch (IEEE JHSB), known for its dedication to fostering leadership, collaboration and intellectual engagement, successfully concluded the second day of VECTOR MUN 2025, a two-day Model United Nations conference aimed at promoting diplomacy, debate and critical thinking among students. Following an insightful and eventful first day, the second day marked the culmination of committee proceedings, celebrations and recognitions.

 

Event Summary

Day 2 of VECTOR MUN 2025, held on 10th October 2025, commenced with a refreshing high tea session, setting a cordial tone for the day. The remaining committee sessions for all three committees: International Press (IP), All India Political Parties Meet (AIPPM) and United Nations Security Council (UNSC) were successfully completed in the first half of the day. Delegates engaged in the final rounds of debate, report presentation and resolution drafting, marking the conclusion of the MUN proceedings. In the latter half of the day, the much-awaited Valedictory Ceremony was held to formally close the event and honor the contributions of participants and organizers.

The ceremony began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, followed by the felicitation of the guests. Each guest was presented with mementos, planters and delegate kits as a token of gratitude.

 

About the Ceremony and Awards

After the felicitation of the guests, the Organizing Committee members were recognized for their efforts and were also presented with mementos in appreciation of their outstanding teamwork and dedication. The Award Ceremony then commenced, where the best delegates, high commendations, and special mentions from each committee were announced and honored. The day concluded with another high tea session, followed by lively social and cultural activities that allowed delegates and organizers to unwind, celebrate, and network in a relaxed atmosphere.

OutcomesThe second day of VECTOR MUN 2025 marked a successful and fulfilling conclusion to the event. Delegates left with enriched experiences, stronger communication skills and a deeper understanding of global affairs. The Valedictory Ceremony celebrated not just achievements but also the teamwork, leadership and intellectual spirit that IEEE JHSB continues to inspire.
