The IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc) Student Branch Chapter, IIT Indore, is organizing an expert talk on Information Processing with Machine Learning and Physical Layer Technologies in Wireless Systems.

This event will explore how advanced machine learning (ML) techniques are revolutionizing wireless communication—from signal detection and channel estimation to adaptive modulation and intelligent spectrum management. The session will also discuss emerging physical layer technologies, such as massive MIMO, reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RIS), and millimeter-wave systems, that form the foundation of 5G, 6G, and future networks. Participants will learn how data-driven algorithms work together with communication theory to make information processing more efficient and improve system reliability in complicated wireless settings. The event is open to students, researchers, and faculty interested in wireless communication, signal processing, and machine learning applications.
