IEEE Day Celebration
To celebrate IEEE Day, the IEEE ISIMA Student Branch organized an outdoor gathering at a local park to connect new and returning members in nature. The event started with a series of ice-breaking activities and interactive games, helping members get to know each other and build a strong sense of community withing the branch.
Following the activities, the SB Chair led an inspiring session about IEEE, highlighting its mission, benefits, and impact on student's professional and technical development. He shared his personal IEEE journey, explaining how being part of IEEE has enhanced his networking skills, opened doors to national and international opportunities, and strengthened his technical expertise through projects and challenges.
The event continued with a presentation on IEEE’s most famous conferences and the TSYP challenges, encouraging members to participate in future regional and global events. Later, former officers shared their experiences, achievements, and advice, while new members expressed their expectations and asked questions, creating a dynamic and engaging exchange.
The celebration concluded with more team-building games and open discussions, fostering a welcoming and motivating environment for all participants to feel inspired and ready to take an active role in the IEEE community.
