TryEngineering Pre-University STEM Workshop for Youth
Imagine a world where everyday objects can sense, think, and communicate.
In this hands-on workshop, youth will step into the role of young innovators, using Arduino microcontrollers and sensors to build smart systems—from environmental monitors to automated gadgets.
Sponsored by the TryEngineering Pre-University STEM Initiative in collaboration with the University of Toronto Student Family Housing, this program gives participants the opportunity to wire circuits, write code, and bring their ideas to life—uncovering how the technologies behind smart homes and precision agriculture really work.
More than just a tech project, this workshop sparks creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving—empowering kids to become inventors and change-makers in a connected world.
