The IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Affinity Group conducted its monthly Executive Committee meeting l with the active participation of WIE members. The primary focus of the meeting was to discuss the series of career guidance sessions scheduled to be held during the upcoming technical week, “VisionFusion 1.0”, jointly organized by IEEE WIE and IEEE IAS.

During the discussion, the committee reviewed the objectives, structure, and timeline of the planned sessions, which are aimed at supporting computer science students in exploring future career pathways and enhancing their professional development. The team also emphasized the importance of effective coordination, speaker engagement, and participant outreach to ensure the success of the event.

Furthermore, the meeting included a detailed conversation on the PR plan for the week, including strategies for promoting the sessions through social media and other communication channels. Members also discussed the design and preparation of promotional materials such as T shirts.

And also discussed about upcoming events. The meeting concluded with the assignment of specific responsibilities and timelines to committee members to confirm the efficient execution of the discussed plan.
