IEEE DAY CELEBRATION 2025 BY IEEE RSCOE SB
On (7th Oct), Prof. Mandar J. Khurjekar conducted an insightful session on “Sensor Applications”, followed by the engaging “GEEKZ” Technical Quiz for SY ENTC students, promoting curiosity and practical understanding.
On (8th Oct) Prof. Prema B. Sahane delivered an extensive workshop on "Turning Ideas into Research Papers" organized by IEEE Computational Intelligence Society under the guidance of faculty coordinator Prof. Pradnya Vikhar. The session covered the complete research lifecycle including idea identification, literature review techniques, research methodology selection, IEEE paper structure, writing best practices, and publication strategies, providing students with a systematic approach to transform innovative concepts into publishable research contributions.
On (9th Oct), Dr. Dinanath Kholkar led “Kshitij Talks” on Digital Public Infrastructure (DPI), highlighting India’s digital transformation through UPI, DigiLocker, and open APIs.
On (10th Oct ) part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, the IEEE Student Branch (RSCOE) in
collaboration with the IEEE Communication Society (ComSoc) organized an expert talk on
“5G Communication and Emerging Technologies” by Mr. Prashant Joshi.
The celebration successfully embodied the spirit of IEEE Day by inspiring students through technology, innovation, and research.

Kshitij Talk
The IEEE Student Branch of Rajarshi Shahu College of Engineering (RSCOE), Pune,
organized an inspiring talk under its Kshitij Talk Series as part of IEEE Day 2025
celebrations. IEEE Day commemorates the first time in history when engineers worldwide
gathered to share their technical ideas under the banner of IEEE. This year’s theme —
“Leveraging Technology for Humanity” — was reflected perfectly in the guest lecture
