Reality 2.0: The Foundational Basis of Quantum Technologies

The chief guest and resource person for the event was Dr. Pranawachandra Deshmukh, a distinguished physicist and educator renowned for his contributions to atomic and quantum physics. The event was coordinated by the IEEE Photonics Society Student Chapter under the guidance of Dr. Ibrar Jahan M A. 

Following the inaugural proceedings, Dr. Deshmukh delivered a highly engaging talk on the foundational principles of quantum mechanics and their crucial role in shaping modern quantum technologies. He discussed the real-world applications of quantum theory in quantum computing, communication, and sensing, inspiring students to explore the deeper implications of quantum science in future innovations.

Biography:

Prof. Deshmukh is a visiting staff at the Computer Science Department, RV University, Bangalore. He served as a Professor in the Department of Physics at IITM
