“Colombian Workshops on Integrated Circuit Design for Beginners”, to be held in the Institucion Universitaria de Barranquilla on October 27–28, 2025, will bring together leading experts in the field for two days of hands-on learning and technical insight.
The workshop will feature distinguished international speakers:

Dr. Jorge Iván Marín Hurtado, President of the Colombian Chapter of CASS, Professor at the University of Quindío, and Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Dr. Juan Sebastián Moya Baquero, Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer at Symbiotic EDA, with research experience at the University of Michigan and a Ph.D. in Electronic Engineering from UIS.
Both speakers will guide participants through the practical learning of integrated circuit design using open-source tools, contributing to the development of technical competencies in a strategically important field for Colombia’s technological advancement.
