Space Race
Space Race was an electrifying space-themed competition organized by IEEE GTBIT SB where knowledge met creativity and speed met strategy. The event featured two exciting rounds - Astro Arena, a rapid-fire space trivia quiz on Quizizz, and Interstellar Auction, where teams used AstroBucks to bid on mystery challenges, including pitches, riddles, puzzles, and creative tasks. Participants were evaluated on clarity, creativity, and accuracy as they navigated both knowledge and strategy to score points. The competition provided a thrilling platform for teamwork, quick thinking, and innovative problem-solving.

Participants registered, received team codes, and were briefed about the event structure, rules, and evaluation criteria.
10:15 AM - 11:00 AM - Round 1: Astro Arena
A rapid-fire space trivia quiz conducted on Quizizz, testing participants’ knowledge of astronomy, astrophysics, and space exploration. Top-performing teams qualified for the next round.
11:00 AM - 11:10 AM - Short Break & Round 2 Instructions
Teams were briefed on the second round mechanics involving AstroBucks and the auction system.
11:10 AM - 12:30 PM - Round 2: Interstellar Auction
Qualified teams used AstroBucks to bid on mystery challenges, including pitches, riddles, puzzles, and creative problem-solving tasks.
Teams were judged based on clarity, creativity, teamwork, and strategy.
12:30 PM - 12:50 PM - Evaluation & Results Compilation
Judges assessed performances and finalized the scores for each team.
12:50 PM - 1:00 PM - Announcement of Winners & Closing Ceremony
Top three teams were announced and felicitated, followed by a vote of thanks to participants and organizing members.
