IEEE Day 2025 - Sir CR Reddy College of Engineering

We are proud to announce the celebration of IEEE Day 2025 at Sir CR Reddy College of Engineering, Eluru, organized by the IEEE Computer Society Chapter. The IEEE Day is an opportunity to celebrate the first time engineers worldwide gathered to share their technical ideas and to inspire the future of technology. This year, we are hosting a series of technical events that will foster innovation, collaboration, and growth among students. Here’s a quick look at the events we will be conducting:

Event 1: The AI Leap

Objective: To learn, build, and explore real-world AI skills and careers.
Description: This hands-on AI bootcamp will cover Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), Generative AI, and related career opportunities. The event will provide participants with the tools to dive deep into AI and its practical applications.
Duration: 3.5 – 4 Hours

Event 2: TechXperience Talks

Objective: To inspire and educate on the latest trends in AI, emerging technologies, and career paths.
Description: A series of engaging talks on the evolving field of Artificial Intelligence, its impact on industries, and the careers that are shaping the future. This event will be a great learning experience for those curious about the technology driving change.
Duration: 2.5 Hours

Event 3: AI Buildathon

Objective: To collaboratively build AI projects addressing real-world challenges.
Description: Teams will receive datasets and tasks to create working AI models with a focus on practical implementation. The buildathon will test participants' coding skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
Duration: 4 Hours

Event 4: Codeathon

Objective: To solve AI/ML coding challenges under time constraints.
Description: A timed coding competition where participants tackle real-world AI tasks such as face detection and classification. The event will challenge participants’ coding abilities and encourage them to innovate in the field of AI and Machine Learning.
Duration: Timed coding challenge (Exact duration TBA)

With these diverse and engaging events, we aim to enhance coding, innovation, and design skills among students while promoting awareness and involvement in the IEEE community. We are proud to host IEEE Day 2025 and are committed to providing a platform for students to showcase their talents, learn from experts, and engage in meaningful technical experiences. The IEEE Day 2025 celebrations at Sir CR Reddy College of Engineering will kick off with Registration & Welcome Tea, followed by the Inaugural Ceremony. The first technical event, The AI Leap, will offer a hands-on mini bootcamp in AI technologies. After a lunch break and networking session, the TechXperience Talks will feature expert speakers on AI trends and emerging technologies. The AI Buildathon will follow, where teams will collaborate to create AI models for real-world challenges. The Codeathon will challenge participants to solve AI/ML coding tasks. The day will conclude with the Closing Ceremony & Prize Distribution, where winners of the competitions will be announced and prizes and certificates awarded. Finally, the event will wrap up with a Dinner & Networking session, allowing participants to unwind and connect.
