IEEE Day Celebration ISET Bizerte x ESSTHS x SESAME x EPT : 4th session- Success Story
As part of our IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, we hosted our fourth virtual session featuring Mohamed Alqasem from the IEEE Jordan Section, who currently serves as a Section Officer.
In this inspiring session, Mohamed shared his journey of growth and success — from discovering IEEE as a student with no prior involvement, to becoming an active volunteer, and eventually earning a leadership position at the section level.
He emphasized the transformative power of volunteering, the value of networking across borders, and how IEEE can shape both personal and professional development.
His story resonated deeply with participants, motivating them to take initiative, explore opportunities within IEEE, and believe that every member
has the potential to lead and make an impact.
The session concluded with an engaging Q&A where attendees shared reflections, asked for advice on leadership, and celebrated the spirit of IEEE Day together

Mohammad Alqasem
Biography:
Mohammad Alqasem is a Software Engineer, entrepreneur and an active IEEE leader, currently serving on the Executive Committee of the IEEE Jordan Section as the International Relations Officer, alongside his involvement in several section committees. Within just two years of membership, he has earned over five global, regional, and local awards. Mohammad is the Chairman of the Jordan SYP Congress 2024 and a founding member of several national IEEE initiatives, including Jordan IEEE Day, Jordan Student Paper Contest, and the Jordan Section Awards Program.
