The LinkedIn & Career Management Workshop: Preparing for the Working World
The LinkedIn Online Session held on 21 October 2025 (Tuesday) from 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. via Google Meet was an engaging and informative program jointly organized by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), IEEE Young Professionals Malaysia, and Momentum. The session featured Ts. Aznilinda Zainuddin as the invited panelist and Puan Nur Izzati, a counselor from UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, as the co-panelist.
The discussion focused on the importance of building a strong professional identity through LinkedIn, covering topics such as creating an impactful profile, networking strategies, and leveraging LinkedIn for career development and job opportunities. Participants were guided step-by-step on how to optimize their profiles, connect with professionals, and showcase their achievements effectively.
The session received active participation from final-year students and young professionals, motivating many to register and begin using LinkedIn as a vital platform for career growth and professional engagement.

Biography:
Aznilinda Zainuddin (M’19–SM'21) received an M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) in 2014. She is a senior lecturer at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Pasir Gudang Campus. Prior to joining the academic, she served Agilent Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd and Western Digital (M) Sdn Bhd as a Senior Product Engineer. Her current research interest is in machine learning for space weather.
