October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and EMBS UA joins this cause with a special session dedicated to innovation and research in health.
Join us for a talk by Pedro Correia, researcher at the Institute of Nanostructures, Nanomodeling and Nanofabrication (i3N) and the Department of Physics of the University of Aveiro.
In this session, the researcher will present his work and the project recently distinguished by the CaixaImpulse Health Innovation 2025 program, an initiative of the “la Caixa” Foundation.
The talk will provide an overview of the associated research area, highlighting its scientific and clinical relevance and the role of biomedical engineering in driving innovation in healthcare.
