Event Overview:
Jordan IEEE Day 2025, held on Saturday, October 11th, at Applied Science University (ASU), was the first national-level IEEE Day celebration in the history of the IEEE Jordan Section. It gathered hundreds of IEEE members and officers from across the country, uniting representatives from over 91 Organizational Units (OUs), including student branches, technical societies, and affinity groups. The celebration featured 16 technical and professional sessions, exhibitions for all OUs, and multiple networking and collaboration opportunities among students, professionals, and industry partners.

Objectives:
This initiative aimed to officially establish Jordan IEEE Day as an annual national gathering for all IEEE OUs in Jordan.
The main goal of Jordan IEEE Day 2025 was to celebrate IEEE Day at a national scale for the first time, by bringing together IEEE members and officers from all over Jordan in one shared space to:

Exchange experiences and knowledge across universities and technical societies.

Build stronger collaboration networks among IEEE members, professionals, and academia.

Strengthen the sense of belonging and pride in the IEEE community.

Impact & Outcomes:

The event gathered 576 total participants, including:
-
420 students, 86 professionals, 33 volunteers, 14 counselors, and 23 advisors.

529 IEEE members attended, including 335 officers.
-
28 universities from across Jordan were represented.

Over 90 IEEE OU booths showcased their work and achievements.

The event contributed significantly to:

Increasing IEEE membership across multiple universities.

Strengthening inter-branch cooperation.

Launching “Jordan IEEE Day” as a recurring national initiative under the IEEE Jordan Section.
