The IEEE Student Branch at the University of Chile hosted the IEEE Branches Gathering and IEEE Day Community Event, which brought together representatives from the University of Santiago and the University Diego Portales. The event featured a discussion panel organized by WIE Chile, a networking session with a mini coffee break, an introduction to the Student Branch’s activities, and an award and certificate ceremony.
The discussion panel focused on sustainable energy, energy equity, and innovation, with guest speakers:

• Dasla Pando, Electrical Engineer (University of Chile), founder of Enerdis, specializing in sustainable energy and education.

• Andrea Vásquez, professional at the Ministry of Energy, working on energy poverty and equitable energy access.

• Natalia Gómez, Electrical Engineer (University of Chile), leading the commercial expansion of energy solutions at Suncast.

The activity promoted professional development, collaboration among IEEE branches, and inclusion through the participation of WIE Chile.
