IEEE DAY'25 - AI-ARxVR Hands on Workshop
As a cornerstone of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, the IEEE MAIT Student Branch, in
collaboration with the EEE Department, successfully organized a ”Hands-on AI x AR Work
shop.” This exclusive event was powered by Bharat XR and SnapAR, Snapchat’s official
Augmented Reality partner. The workshop was designed to provide students with a deep
dive into the synergistic world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR),
moving beyond theory to offer a practical, immersive experience.
The session was expertly conducted by Ms. Chhavi Garg, founder of BharatXR and
Arexa, a prominent figure in the Indian XR industry. The 120-minute session was metic
ulously structured to ensure a comprehensive learning journey. The agenda included a
foundational overview of immersive tech (AR/VR/MR), a discussion on career pathways,
a practical walkthrough of Snapchat’s Lens Studio (v5.13), and a demonstration of AI in
tegration. The workshop culminated in a hands-on segment where participants applied
their new knowledge to create their own interactive Snapchat Lens.
