As part of the IEEE Day 2025 celebrations, IEEE MAIT hosted "Sync-a-LED," a dynamic hardware and programming competition.
The event challenged participating teams to integrate electronics and coding in a creative display. The core task was to program an Arduino microcontroller to analyze a music input in real-time. Teams then had to use this analysis to control a series of LEDs, creating a visually compelling light show that was perfectly synchronized with the music's rhythm, tempo, and mood.
This hands-on competition tested the teams' skills in hardware interfacing, microcontroller programming, and creative design, successfully blending technical engineering with artistic expression.
